Dear
Mike Gin, I have been so working so very hard with all my productions that I failed to salute you and send my support to you and your great team! As these finals hours to the campaign approach I am hopeful that you will prevail as our new mayor and will bring some stability to the Redondo Beach and our Performing Arts Center. We have been cut-a-drift here and often find ourselves being cut out of every decision. The CLOSBC is being constantly left out and the city keeps wasting money by hiring $70,000.00 plus Consultants. This is insulting to me since I am available for Redondo Beach 24 hours a day 7 days a week for free. We have a proven track record and have been identified in all the trades as Southern California's best and number one live theatre producer. Sadly our city officials, who lack leadership, would rather hire someone from outside the area by 800 miles to tell us how to run the building and a program that we invented and forged from nothing, locally! Not to mention, the CLOSBC has won awards over other prominent competitors such as Los Angeles' Music Center and New York’s Broadway. I believe that our knowledge and experience would be valuable in helping the city continue to build a program and cut costs. I know with you as Mayor the CLOSBC will have a better and closer relationship with the city as it should be. You’ll listen to our cost cutting ideas and help create a program and a process that will not waste taxpayer money. My sincerest best wishes and good luck with your Mayoral race. I wish you the very best! For the record, you were one of the best councilmember's we had during your terms in office. I look forward to you returning to public service. I am certain that having you back as our new Mayor of Redondo Beach will help all of us get back on track with a new vision, some new blood and sweeping changes that will benefit us all. |

Whom it May Concern: I have had a business in Redondo Beach for 40 years - The Academy of Martial Arts (310-379-3136). For the last 15 years, I have had the pleasure of working with Mike Gin. he always came to the Businessman's Association meeting. He always gave his full attention to our needs and was very helpful. I wholely recommend Mike Gin for Mayor of our fine city! |

"Thanks
to the staff for delivering my sign for your runoff election, I appreciate
it and your visit to my front door recently. I wish you and your team
the best of luck as you work your way toward runoff day. As a long time neighborhood activist here in North Redondo Beach, I have taken the time to visit and communicate my feelings about who should be the next Mayor for our fine city with all of my neighbors and friends. As a moderate who listens well and works both sides of an issue, I believe that you will be a fine representative for our city in the coming years. As we both agreed during your recent visit, there is a lot more to this city than its "Heart." Just ask anyone who lives in North Redondo Beach - believe me, there is a lot to talk about besides the pier or the Heart of the City plan. Again, thanks for your time the other day, your sign out front, and I wish you the best in your efforts. Good luck!" |

| Dear
Mr. Gin--Just wanted you to know that we received your mailer today and
it is the first piece of literature that makes any sense. When other candidates'
volunteers have called soliciting support and we ask about their stand
on Plan A or Plan B all we get is double talk and no answers. Although
we were unsure if we even wanted to participate in this muddle of an election,
we find your letter informative and convincing. |

I
just received your mailer regarding the [Heart of the City issues]. I
wish I had had your input prior to voting for "B." I voted for
it as the lesser of two evils. However, if you win -- and I sincerely hope you do -- the problem is moot. Our area already has the best County Supervisor. It will be terrific if we have the best Mayor! |

Gin was my city councilman. He was/is a extremely dedicated individual.
Any problem I had in my district he was quick to resolve. Mr. Gin has
