	March 12, 2005 Mike Leading the Mayor's race into the May 17th Runoff Election
	Mike heads into the Runoff, currently scheduled for May 17th, 2005, with a 544 vote lead over the two potential run-off opponents. High drama was evident this week, as the City Clerk counted late absentee ballots and provisional ballots, in order to determine who will be Mike's opponent. Because none of the candidates received more than half of the vote, the runoff is required.
	Mike has received the endorsement of the Daily Breeze and the Los Angeles County Lifeguards Association! Click here to view a copy of the February 14 mailer that Mike sent out to voters and the Daily Breeze's agreement with Mike's position on this issue that was published on February 25. Many residents, business people, and other community leaders throughout Redondo Beach and the South Bay have already endorsed Mike.
